Femmes on the Case is a 2024 podcast series that focuses on the representation of women in crime dramas, looking in particular at 2 series Only Murders in the Building and Cagney and Lacey. Within this series we are joined by various guests including academic experts, media and criminology undergraduates as well as fans of the crime genre. During these episode our guests will react to clips of the 2 series mentioned above where they talk about their perspectives based on experiences and knowledge of the subject. We will also be addressing some questions regarding the genre and the influence it may have had in the past as well as the one it has on our current society through exploring similar media texts that convey various ideas about women in the crime genre.
